Love My Dog Training and Training With Grace Seminars and Workshops Message

We hope everyone had a great Fourth of July weekend, and that no dogs were too stressed with the fireworks!
Love My Dog Training and Training With Grace have several events coming up. We hope there is something for everyone, but if you have special requests, please send them to us.
Below is information on the following events:
* Taking it to the Streets: Polite Pooches in Public (an 8 week class)
* Canine Good Citizen Testing Event (a one evening event)
* Dog Days at High Point (a one day event)
* Separation Anxiety Workshop (a half-day workshop)
* Leash Manners Workshop (a half-day workshop)

Taking it to the Streets: Polite Pooches in Public
* Tuesdays, July 22 to September 9, 7:00-8:00 pm
* First session is at Deer Creek Animal Hospital, Southwest Littleton near C-470/Kippling. Remaining sessions will be various dog-friendly locations around the Littleton and surrounding areas.
* Cost: $150 for 8 sessions. Pre-registration is required.
* Pre-requisite: Basic Training or equivalent. Your dog must be current on all vaccinations, including Bordatella (kennel cough).
This is a new offering for Love My Dog Training and Training With Grace. This class is for those who have done the Basics and now want to get out and practice in the real world! We can't tell you how many times we hear: "He responds great at home, but as soon as we get outside. . ." If this sounds familiar, this is the class for you! During our first session, we will choose the locations for our remaining sessions. We will look for suggestions for dog-friendly locations you would like to meet and practice your dog’s polite social skills. Maximum of 8 dogs in this class.

Dog Days at High Point
* Saturday, July 26, 9:00 am – 3:00 pm
* Location: High Point, Denver/Aurora (near the Tower Road exit off Pena Blvd.)
Love My Dog Training and Training With Grace will be working with another trainer to provide free dog training sessions for puppies and adult dogs throughout the event. No pre-registration necessary, just show up and sign up! All of the details have not been worked out yet, but you can find out more about this community at: http://www.highpointcolorado.com/location.htm

Canine Good Citizen Testing
* Sunday, July 27: 6:00-8:00 pm
* Canine's Canyon in Golden
It might be hot in the city, but it's cool up in the foothills! If your dog is a good citizen and you want the proof to back up your claim, sign up to take the Canine Good Citizen Test with us! The test itself takes about 15 minutes, but come and stick around to watch others test and be part of our crowd for the "walking through a crowd" segment of the test.

Separation Anxiety Workshop
Does your dog show signs of distress when you leave them home alone? We will learn the symptoms of separation anxiety, how to differentiate it from other issues, and what causes it. Discover how to prevent and treat anxiety in your dog.

Time: 8 am – 12 pm
Cost: $45.00 if you attend WITH your dog; $10.00 each additional dog in your family; $35.00 to audit WITHOUT your dog
Current fosters for rescue groups may audit for no charge (space is limited)
No Aggressive dogs and no females in season. Please bring your own chair. If you are attending with your dog, bring a variety of treats to last the entire day.
Pre-registration is required.

Leash Manners Workshop
Does your dog drag you on walks? Learn which tools to use and how to use them to get your dog following you. Learn games and exercises that will teach your dog how to walk politely on a leash.

Cost: $45.00 if you attend WITH your dog; $10.00 each additional dog in your family; $35.00 to audit WITHOUT your dog
