There will be no Social Walk this Sunday, October 12. Since we will be out of town the following Sunday and the sun will be setting earlier by late October, we will be discontinuing our Sunday evening Social Walks until next spring. Our Social Walk on Sunday, September 28 will be begin at approximately 5:15 pm. This week we will be meeting at Clement Park located at 7306 W Bowles Ave, Littleton, CO 80123 (W. Bowles Ave. and S. Pierce Street). We will meet near the west entrance off from Bowles. There is a grassy area south of the entrance and library, east of the lake/reservoir, north/west of the picnic shelters and west/south of the parking lot. We will walk around the reservoir. Since there are no Love My Dog Training Classes or Socialization Hours this Sunday, there will also be no Social Walk this Sunday, Sept. 21. But we do encourage you to still get out and walk your dogs! Take your dog to a new park or path to walk. Call up a friend or relative to meet you. If you aren't much for walking, but love to shop, take your well-behaved dog to Aspen Grove Shopping Center and shop while you walk. Have a great weekend! We will enter from the new entrance off from South Platte Canyon Road that runs parallel and just north of C470. Our Social Walk on Sunday, September 7 will begin at approximately 5:15 pm. This week we will be meeting at Writer's Vista Park at 1900 W. Mineral Ave., Littleton, Colorado. We will hook up to the Highline Canal Trail from here. Here is the location on mapquest: http://www.mapquest.com/maps/1900+W+Mineral+Ave+littleton+co/ Writer's Vista Park is east of Santa Fe on Mineral Ave. Enter the parking lot on the east side of the park. The Highline Canal Trail is on the east side of the park alongside the parking lot. The forecast is for mid-70's on Sunday, so it should be a great day for a walk! In the case of inclement weather, we will cancel the walk for the week. Please let us know if you plan to join us. You may email or call through Saturday, but please call if you are responding on Sunday as we are not able to check emails on Sunday.
