Articles Written By Others But Well Worth Including in our Resources

Guidelines on the Use of Punishment for Dealing with Behavior Problems in Animals by the American Veterinary Society of Animal Behavior.

Whatever Happened to the Term Alpha Wolf? by L. David Mech. While we did not write this article, we felt it well worth adding to our list of articles as it addresses the issue of the "alpha" as it relates to wolves. It's written by L. David Mech, who is a senior research scientist for the U.S. Geological Survey and founder and vice chair of the International Wolf Center. He has studied wolves for 50 years and published several books and many articles about them.
