Puppy Recess (Socialization)
Puppy Recess is for puppies 8 weeks to 5 months of age or small breed dogs over 5 months who play well with puppies ($5/dog):
- This is an opportunity for puppies to socialize and play in a safe environment. This type of interaction is important for puppies to learn proper social skills with other dogs. Puppies that do not learn proper social skills can get into trouble later or develop serious dog-dog issues.
- Learn to differentiate appropriate play and social behavior from potential problems.
- You must supply proof of current age-appropriate vaccinations as well as bordetella. Please check with your veterinarian if you are unsure of appropriate vaccinations.

Canine Social Hour
Canine Social Hour is for dogs over 5 months of age and who play well with other dogs. If you have a small dog, contact me before you drop-in to see if this is the appropriate selection for your dog ($5/dog):
- Canine Social Hour is an opportunity for dogs to gather, play, and socialize in a safe environment. The main focus of this hour is to allow the dogs time to socialize with other dogs.
- This is also an opportunity for humans to learn what is and is not appropriate dog-dog play and social behavior.
- No reservations needed. The cost of each one-hour session is $5.
- Dogs must be current on vaccinations, including bordetella. You must bring proof of current vaccinations.
- Your dog must play well with others to attend these sessions. If you are unsure, please speak with the Trainer before you arrive for a session. If your dog is aggressive or otherwise inappropriate with the other dogs, you will be asked to leave the session.
- Canine Social Hour will only be held if we are able to meet outdoors. In the case of inclement weather, these sessions will not be held.

Social Walks/Community Service
- For clients and friends of Love My Dog Training
- For dogs of any age who get along well with other dogs and other people
- No charge
- Pre-registration is required
- Currently held the first Sunday of each month. Times vary.
We enjoy the public spaces where we meet for our social walks. Let’s keep them clean so that we can continue to enjoy them! We have combined our Social Walks with Community Service by participating in the Adopt-a-Park Program through the Foothills Parks and Recreation District. We “adopted" Clement Park Lake Trail. For anyone who would like to join us, we walk around Clement Park Lake Trail and pick up trash along the way. We would love it if you would join us in cleaning up the park, but you are also welcome to walk with us while we pick up trash along the way.
These are not training sessions. These are an opportunity to take your dog for a social walk with other friendly dogs and their people. In the case of inclement weather, these walks will not be held.
