Puppy Recess (Socialization)
Puppy Recess for puppies 8 weeks to 6 months of age ($5/dog):
- This is an opportunity for puppies to socialize and play in a safe environment. This type of interaction is important for puppies to learn proper social skills with other dogs. Puppies that do not learn proper social skills can get into trouble later or develop serious dog-dog issues.
- Learn to differentiate appropriate play and social behavior from potential problems.
- You must supply proof of current age-appropriate vaccinations as well as bordetella. Please check with your veterinarian if you are unsure of appropriate vaccinations.
- No reservations necessary at Deer Creek Animal Hospital. Reservations required at VCA Southeast Area Animal Hospital.

Canine Social Hour
Canine Social Hour is for adolescent and adult dogs 6 months and older who enjoy playing with other dogs ($5/dog):
- Canine Social Hour is an opportunity for dogs to gather, play, and socialize in a safe environment. The main focus of this hour is to allow the dogs time to socialize with other dogs. This allows the dogs to learn appropriate canine social skills and to play with other dogs of different sizes and play styles.
- This is also an opportunity for humans to learn what is and is not appropriate dog-dog play and social behavior.
- No reservations needed. The cost of each one-hour session is $5.
- Dogs must be current on vaccinations, including bordetella. You must bring proof of current vaccinations.
- Your dog must play well with others to attend these sessions. If you are unsure, please speak with the Trainer before you arrive for a session. If your dog is aggressive or otherwise inappropriate with the other dogs, you might be asked to leave the session. If your dog does not know how to interact appropriately off-leash with other dogs, please speak with the Trainer about the possibility of private training to resolve any issues.
- Canine Social Hour will only be held if we are able to meet outdoors. In the case of inclement weather, these sessions will not be held.

Social Walks
- For Love My Dog Training current or former training clients
- For dogs of any age who get along well with other dogs and other people
- No charge
- Pre-registration is required
These are not training sessions. These are an opportunity to take your dog for a social walk with our dogs and other friendly dogs in training and their people. The location to be determined each week. All locations will be within about 15-20 minutes of Deer Creek Animal Hospital (Map Location). In the case of inclement weather, these walks will not be held.
